I've lost about 2 lbs. thus far.... gonna watch my eating a bit more carefully over weekends... these past couple of holiday weekends have kind of messed with my healthy eating habits.
I got my hair cut in a style I like, and I have some new scrubs that fit me better, so it is helping me feel a little bit better about myself. I have some black eyed peas thawing, because I am not above a little bit of superstition if it helps me at all! lol
Here is hoping that 2010 is a banner year!

Every lost pound is progress. I feel like I can't give any good advice because my diet has such particular rules. People get mad at me because I can eat desserts every day! But I do think you need ot be careful with the mostly-vegan thing that you get enough protein and don't overdo the carbs. Protein is more satisfying. And the more carbs you eat, the more chance for excess insulin in your system. That spells fat. I think a huge amount of salad prepared and ready to pull out of the fridge is helpful, but I just don't crave salad in the winter.
